During this wine and olive oil tasting experience you will explore, discover and taste.
A private tasting experience can be arranged for your small group at the Puglia Wine School sampling luxurious wines matched by the most traditional flavors of the Puglia countryside.
The Wine and Olive Oil Experience will pick you up at your place of residence and take you to a winery and an olive grove where you will have a special tour and tasting followed by a delicious lunch paired with more wonderful wines.

Grape Harvest
The Day Trips Grape Harvest Tour and Tasting is an experiential day trip which offers hands-on experience harvesting grapes during harvest season (august – September) and explore the fine crafts of grape growing and winemaking.
Grape Harvest Program:
9,00 am meet your guide
9,30 am arrival to the winery and little harvest introduction (vintagers instructions and supervision, a vintage hat and pruning shears)
10,00 am Start to pick-up the grapes
12,00 am winery, visit and wine tasting

Olive Picking (October 15 – November 30)
Pick olives by hand in the central Salento town of Squinzano that boasts an olive grove with nearly 16.000 olive trees and incredible views. Tour guests will learn how to pick olives and the traditional olive oil making process, as well as enjoy a guided tour by the proprietors of the local olive pressing facility to see self-picked olives turned into olive oil.
This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse in the local country culture: this experience is perfect for couples, families and small groups as a way to experience the culture and share the beauty of olive picking in a small village in a totally paced way.
